The opulent Russian cities await you on this breathtaking cruise. We are timed to coincide with the longest nights of the summer, the real White Nights of St. Petersburg. Moscow frames the other end of the cruise as the charming Old World villages showcase the contrasts of modern Russia. While St. Petersburg has the world-famous Hermitage Museum, Moscow is filled with history – Red Square, the Kremlin and St. Basil’s Cathedral. This trip includes the “must see” shore excursions as well as tempting optional ones. |

Day 1 - Depart the U.S.
Day 2 - Arrive in St. Petersburg and embark the ship.
Day 3 - Tour St. Petersburg, the fabled city of canals with Palace Square, the historic heart of St. Petersburg, and Nevsky Prospect, the city’s main boulevard.
Day 4 - Take an excursion to Hermitage Museum.
Day 5 - Today we visit Catherine’s Palace and Park in Pushkin, Baroque masterpiece.
Day 6 - Explore St. Petersburg, and celebrate tonight at the Captain’s welcome dinner.
Day 7 - We cruise the Svir River and have a Shashlik picnic ashore with a visit to the reconstructed village of Mandrogi.
Day 8 - Cruise Lake Onega, Kizhi Island, Kizhi Open Air Museum and the Church of Transfiguration, built entirely out of wood without a nail.
Day 9 - See daily life in Russia close-up in Goritsy (Kirillov). Meet the locals and savor traditional treats.
Day 10 - Cruise Lake Rybinsk to the beautiful Yaroslavl, in the heart of the Golden Ring cities and home to the exquisite Church of Elijah the Prophet.
Day 11 - We tour Kostroma, a jewel in the circle of the Golden Ring cities.
Day 12 - In Uglich, Ivan the Terrible’s son, Dmitry, was murdered in 1591. Explore the historical and beautiful churches. In the evening, we share in the Captain’s farewell dinner.
Day 13 - Cruise through the 80-mile long Moscow Canal in the morning and reach Moscow in the afternoon. Our tour shows the many historical landmarks, from the worldfamous Red Square to the spectacular rainbow-colored St. Basil’s Cathedral.
Day 14 - A highlight of Moscow is a visit to the 15thcentury Kremlin and Armory Museum, a self-contained city of palaces, armories, cathedral and medieval fortress. Take a ride on the unique Moscow Metro and visit Arbat Street.
Day 15 - Enjoy an entire day at leisure in this grand city called Moscow.
Day 16 - Disembark the ship and transfer to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport for the flight home.
