Day 1 - Shuttle service from Albuquerque Airport delivers you to La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe, where we welcome you. A great introduction to Southwestern cuisine can be found right in our hotel restaurant. La Fonda, the “grand dame” of Santa Fe hotels, is a treasure of art and hospitality. Located right at the plaza, it is a landmark from where you can walk to everything.

Day 2 - The best way to expose yourself to a new city is with a walking tour. This historic and cultural background will enhance your visit to the “City of Holy Faith.” Admission to the Loretto Chapel with its Miraculous Stairway is a highlight. This afternoon, take a short taxi ride to Tesuque Pueblo Flea Market, where you will find everything from locally created to imported, from jewelry to antiques. Tonight you can find a fun restaurant to taste the local specialties.

Day 3 - We board our private motor coach for a visit to Taos. First stop is Chimayo, the tiny pilgrimage town with its legendary shrine and notable weaving families. The adobe church in Taos is an attention grabber as you recognize it from Ansel Adams’ photos and Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings. Lunch is included before we take time to explore the many art galleries and shops of Taos. The afternoon has us at the Taos Pueblo and our final stop on the return to Santa Fe is the museum home of Millicent Rogers.

Day 4 - his morning you are free to explore this unique city. The afternoon is set aside for our class at the Cooking School of Santa Fe. In the evening we are hosted at a private wine and cheese reception at Karan Ruhlen Gallery on Canyon Road – Santa Fe’s Art Colony. Karan introduces us to an outstanding local artist, who shares some of her life as an artist and background on her particular medium.

Day 5 - our shuttle returns you to Albuquerque for your flight home.
