VIETNAM WITH CAMBODIA AND LAOS

With Dan and Shyla Bare

DESCRIPTION:

Ancient and modern history unites with haunting beauty in Southeast Asia. It is mysterious and exotic and not to be missed. Saigon, Hanoi, Hue, Hoian, Halong Bay, Danang and the Mekong Delta are some of our Vietnam stops. Pearl farms, paper makers, silk weavers, rice winery, cooking class, markets and so much more await you. And when you get tired you just pop in for a fantastic massage at a price you will not believe.

In Cambodia we have plenty of time in the 12th century Angkor Wat, the UNESCO Heritage Site and the world’s largest religious monument. While the endless temples are fascinating, the people also have unique stories to tell. A visit to the Cambodian circus is a remarkable experience. No animals, just extraordinary performers telling a story.

If you can stay for a few more days, add Laos to your list of countries. Monks asking for alms, beautiful textiles, and a stunning set of waterfalls are highlights of this wonderful country. Its gentle people have had more bombs per person dropped on it than any other place on earth. Being resourceful, they now make art out of bomb fragments. The landscape is beautiful and there is much to learn.  You can even laugh your way through a fish pedicure!

How long has Indochina been on your “bucket list?” Here is an easy way to see it up close and in comfort and safety. Please join Dan and Shyla Bare of Wild Spirit Travel, and Marcia Miller of You Go Tastefully! for this very special, small group tour.
